seeing the beauty of the world
In my work design philosophy is asking myself questions.
Is there any space that can be filled usefully with any new product? What is the design quality of a new product? Am I creating an environmental problem with a new product?

Trying to get to the solution too quickly can block the design process. An incubation time is necessary to really feel all the options and to choose the right path to a solution. Asking questions and searching for problems starts a thinking process, a solution can stop it.

environment
Of course environment is a big issue;
born in the second half of the 20th century and having my education on the Academy of Arts in Maastricht and the Design Academy in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, taking care of the environment has grown in our genes.
"Leaving the world better to our children than we got it" is a strong concept and gives great responsibility.
As a designer I try to make products in a way that the production process is less polluting, the product can be taken apart in recyclable parts and that the products are designed for a long time giving people pleasure.
